As you are aware, I've been on blood pressure meds since approx Jan 2005. While I've only been in the formwell program for a few weeks, my workouts with you along with my change in diet has caused a real change of events. For two days last week (Sept 4-5 Tues/Wed) my blood pressure was 110/72 and 110/69...and when I took my atenolol, it took my blood pressure down to 100/63....I realized that I couldn't continue to take it and risk it being too low, so I called my dr and explained what was going on...she has taken me off of my blood pressure medicine. WHOOOPEEEE....
The other tidbit of good news is I have broken past the 230 lbs mark. 3-4 months ago I weighed 250 and I knew I had to do something...I couldn't ....no I wouldn't let it ever go any higher. That was the last straw...that and the fact I heard a chair pop when I sat in it. That was the first time I realized that chairs too...had their weight limit. I became paranoid after that and realized I could no longer overlook my weight. Last Friday, I weighed and was 228.4. I don't remember what it was when I started at formwell several weeks ago....somewhere like 238 or 236...you'll have to chk and let me know. Regardless, the workouts really help keep me focused on my eating and really give me a new lease when I have moments I don't think I can keep this up ....It will be awhile before I can get to my REAL goal...but I really do appreciate you keeping me focused and helping me work through getting there. Thanks so much for your dedication and belief in me and the many others you are helping. While we might be calling you names during the workouts....my heart thanks you!!!
